Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Metriq accesses, uses, stores, shares, and deletes data when customers use the public website or authorize the service to read Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, and Meta reporting data.

Last updated: May 12, 2026

1. Who we are

Metriq is a read-only analytics and reporting service for paid-media teams. In this policy, Metriq, we, our, and us refer to the Metriq service.

This policy applies to the public website at https://metriq.cc and to the Metriq SaaS product when an authorized customer connects data sources.

2. Public website data

The public website is informational. It does not currently use signup forms, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics scripts in the code deployed from this repository.

If you contact Metriq by email, we receive your email address and any information included in your message so we can respond to the request.

3. Data sources Metriq reads

Metriq reads data only from accounts, properties, and ad accounts that a customer authorizes. Depending on the connected source, this may include provider account identifiers, campaign identifiers, campaign names, campaign status, dates, currencies, spend, impressions, clicks, sessions, conversions, purchases, revenue, conversion value, reach, frequency, and related performance metrics.

Metriq is read-only by design. It does not create campaigns, edit ads, change bids, adjust budgets, pause campaigns, or perform other write actions in Google Ads, GA4, or Meta.

4. Connection credentials and metadata

To maintain authorized reporting connections, Metriq may store OAuth tokens, refresh tokens, service credentials, system-user tokens, provider account identifiers, display names, time zones, currencies, and related integration metadata.

These credentials are used only to maintain the reporting connection and retrieve data authorized by the customer.

5. Google API limited-use disclosure

The use and transfer by Metriq of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • Google user data is used only to provide and improve user-facing reporting features.
  • Google user data is not used for advertising, retargeting, or unrelated profiling.
  • Google user data is not sold, rented, or transferred to third parties except as needed to provide the service, comply with law, or protect the service.
  • Humans do not read Google user data unless necessary for support, security, legal compliance, or with customer consent.

6. How Metriq uses data

  • To power read-only dashboards, reports, and diagnostic summaries.
  • To compare performance across Google Ads, GA4, and Meta.
  • To normalize reporting into a shared site and account view.
  • To detect anomalies, trend changes, and reporting mismatches.
  • To provide customer support and investigate service issues.
  • To operate billing, account, and subscription workflows.

Metriq does not sell customer data or use it to train general-purpose machine-learning models.

7. Payments and Paddle

Paid-plan payments may be processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Paddle may process billing details, tax information, invoices, payment status, subscription status, refund status, and related transaction records.

Metriq does not store credit card numbers or payment credentials. If checkout is enabled, card and payment credential handling is performed by Paddle under Paddle legal and privacy policies.

8. Service providers and disclosure

Metriq does not sell or rent customer data. Data is disclosed only in limited cases:

  • To infrastructure and operational providers needed to host, secure, bill, monitor, and support the service, including AWS and Paddle.
  • To connected platforms when required to provide the integrations authorized by the customer.
  • When required by applicable law, legal process, or binding request from public authorities.

9. Storage, security, and access

Metriq stores service data in PostgreSQL databases and related application infrastructure hosted on AWS. This can include reporting data, connection metadata, and credentials needed to maintain authorized integrations.

Access is limited to authorized personnel and service providers who need it to operate, secure, bill, or support the service.

10. Retention, deletion, and revocation

Metriq keeps connected-account data while the customer uses the service and while it is needed to operate the reporting workflow.

  • Customers can revoke platform access through the underlying provider account settings.
  • Customers can request deletion of account data by emailing admin@metriq.cc.
  • After a verified deletion request or account closure, Metriq will delete stored credentials and customer service data within a commercially reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, billing, or fraud-prevention reasons.

11. AI providers

  • Metriq does not currently send customer data to Claude or other LLM providers in production.
  • If that changes, Metriq will update this policy before using such a provider for customer data processing.

12. International use and privacy rights

Metriq may process data in countries where its infrastructure and service providers operate. Customers may request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy-rights assistance by contacting support.

13. Changes and contact

Metriq may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect service, provider, or legal changes. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable service or email notice where appropriate.

Privacy questions and deletion requests can be sent to admin@metriq.cc.
